We all had a wonderful day trip to Blackpool Tower today! Our day was jam packed with excitement!
We arrived shortly after 10.15 and wandered through the aquarium. Then we hot footed it up to the main tower lift and took a ride 518 feet up the tower!! Most of us then walked the extra few steps to the highest viewing level, took a deep breath and peered over the side! What a long way down! Even braver(or maybe madder!) were those of us who walked, danced and jumped over the glass panel in the floor!
We took the lift down and went for a prehistoric wander through the dinosaur park. We even found time to visit the 3D cinema, put on our 3D glasses and enjoy the film.
Next it was off to the circus for lunch and then lots of fun watching Mooky the Clown and the chinese acrobats and entertainers. What a talented bunch!
Finally we went into the huge play area packed with ball pools, slides, climbing tunnels and nets. While some of us played, others popped to the shop to buy souvenirs.
As always our children were fantastically well behaved throughout the day. Thank you all for such an enjoyable day! And thank you to Mrs Markland, Mrs Schofield, Mr Rushton, Mrs Holmes and Emily for all their help.

It has been a lovely, sunny day today and we have all enjoyed playing on the field. With good weather forecast for the next few days, remember to keep safe in the sun by bringing a hat or cap, some sun cream and a bottle of water to school each day. (Hope I haven’t put an end to our nice weather!)
Thank you children ! You all looked wonderful in your outfits! Mr Rushton really enjoyed listening to the reasons why you like your favourite books.

Today Reception and Year 1 were treated to a visit from Danny, a teaching dog! We enjoyed learning all about Danny and the way his owner, Angela, looks after him and about the wonderful work of the ‘Dogs Trust’. Thank you to Danny and Angela for another fun afternoon !
